Update 3.3 has arrived and offers a lot of new updates for the game moving forward!

As with all updates, Genshin Impact 3.3 starts of with 2 phase banner releases. The first phase re-introducing our former Fatui Harbinger as The Wanderer “revived” from the evil ways through the help of the Dendro Archon. Did we mention that The Wanderer is now Anemo, despite the common belief that he would have been Electro (I guess if he was still Scaramouche). Alongside his release is also a new 4-star Anemo character called Faruzan. On the other banner, we have the return of our beloved Oni Kabuto master trainer – Arataki Itto as well as other 4-star characters. On the Second phase of the character banners, we have the Wanderer’s relative, the Electro Archon herself, The Raiden Shogun Ei. Alongside her return is Kamisato Ayato, our favorite Boba Milk Tea enthusiast.

With the new character also releases the update on the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Inversion of Gensis, where we focus on the aftermath of the events of 3.2. Also the chapter seemingly focuses on Scaramouche’s story, perhaps until his revival to The Wanderer, as he accompanies the Traveler and Nahida to Irminsul.

New Weapons have also arrived for the update! A new 5-star Catalyst, Tulaytullah's Remembrance, will feature on the Weapon Banner for 3.3 and there will also be a new 4-Star Sword, Toukabou Shigure. Since we are talking about equipment. Update 3.3 will also feature 2 new artifacts: Dessert Pavilion Chronicle and Flower of Paradise Lost. Both Artifacts seemingly fits for the new characters arriving.

New events are also popping up like the Akitsu Kimodameshi, where Itto is the star of the show (as he always is) which is also called “Test of Courage” which means it’s a scary themed event, with a new weapon that looks like a Yokai. Another event is the Acrros the Wilderness where players need to collect balloons in a specific timeframe. Misty Dungeon: Realm of Sand is also a returning with different leyline disorders must be done with different characters to choose from. Leyline Overflow is also available during the 3.3 update. Lastly, everyone’s favorite event, the Windtrace is making a comeback, with new schemes and possibly new stage. Hide-and-Seek in Genshin Impact will definitely have a new twist.

And the biggest new update coming from 3.3 is the introduction of the Genius Invokation! A highly anticipated card game that is exclusive to the Genshin Impact game! The Genius Invokation TCG will combine mechanics of the original game and a Card Battler system. Collect Character cards, weapon and equipment cards, event cards, and more in the exciting card battle. The game also incorporates the elemental reaction so deck building is very important for a player to ensure victory. And of course you can challenge your friends to a duel to see who has the superior deck! More details on this in the future! But this is very exciting news indeed!
