If we’re talking about the most solid team in 2021, then EVOS Reborn is definitely one of them. EVOS Reborn successfully amaze the PUBG Mobile esports scene in Indonesia, even though they have just formed earlier this year.

Shocking the PUBGM Scene From the Start

EVOS actually already had a PUBGM team since 2018. That team successfully won the PUBGM Indonesia National Championship in 2019, defeating Bigetron Esports in the process.

However, this team cannot defend their title in 2020 and have to be satisfied with the runner-up position. Ever since then, EVOS Esports is undergoing a major overhaul and resulted in a newly formed team dubbed as EVOS Reborn in 2021.

The Reborn team recruits Microboy, one of the star players, as a move that shocks the PUBGM Indonesia esports scene. Microboy who initially signals his retirement turns out leaving the Bigetron RA and joining EVOS Reborn. 

The news was followed by the recruitment of RedFace who was a former ION Esports player who is just as famous. The announcement of RedFace’s recruitment was made just one day after Microboy’s announcement.

EVOS Reborn starts their new journey with these players as their roster: Microboy, Redface, Auro, Lyzerg dan KF. As such, EVOS Reborn became one of the highly anticipated teams in the PUBGM scene.

Runner-Up PMPL ID Regular Season 3

The newly formed EVOS Reborn turns out to be able to perform well in all of their matches during PMPL ID Regular Season 3. They rise to the top thanks to a series of great performances and came out as the runner-up in that tournament, securing their position for PMPL SEA 2021.

The only team that performs better during PMPL ID Season 3 was Bigetron RA, who already wins the tournament thrice. 

Even though they have secured the ticket to PMPL SEA 2021, they failed to perform in the Final Stage for PMPL ID Season 3, ending the final stage at the bottom of the table. The Final Stage itself was won by Geek Fam, with Bigetron RA as the runner up. 

Champions of DGL 2021

In June 2021, there are a lot of PUBGM teams participating in DGL 2021, because it is like a “warm up stage” for the upcoming PMNC 2021 tournament. Starting their journey in the Pro Qualifiers, EVOS Reborn had a bumpy start, before finally finishing in fifth place and qualifying for the Grand Final DGL 2021.

Unlike their performance in the qualifiers, EVOS Legends enjoys a better performance in the Grand Final stage while scoring a lot of kills. Their consistency let them finish in the top five, racking a lot of points. 

In the end, EVOS Reborn was crowned as the winner of DGL 2021 with a total score of 168 points, receiving a total prize of IDR 202 million. One of their roster, KF, also obtained the Terminator title on day two of the Grand Final DGL 2021 and receive a reward of IDR 7,75 million.

EVOS Reborn’s Failure at PMNC 2021

Right after winning a title at the DGL, EVOS Reborn must hit a roadblock in their journey. In the PMNC 2021 tournament, EVOS Rebord failed to secure their position, losing the ticket to PMPL ID Season 4 in the process. 

EVOS Reborn could only accumulate 83 points, which sadly is not enough, thus eliminating them with another six teams. Lack of consistency during their games is the main factor of this disappointing result.
