These 11 Dota 2 Teams Have Secured Their Tickets to The Lima Majors 2023!

A total of 11 teams have secured their tickets for The Lima Major 2023, while some of them even secured the spot two weeks before DPC ended. Who are they?

The Lima Major will be the first Major of the year for the Dota 2 competitive scene. So far, a total of three Majors are scheduled to be held in 3 different regions, namely The Lima Majors in South America, The Berlin Major in Western Europe, and The Bali Major which will be held in Southeast Asia.

The Lima Major 2023 will be held from February 22 to March 5 2023. Of course, this will be a good start for the competitive Dota 2 scene, which is currently losing some of its usual hype due to the holidays after the surprising completion of the last DPC.

The performance of this year’s teams from almost all regions are quite jaw-dropping, where many which were previously hoped as potential champions in a region, collapsed and even have to go down to the 2nd division.

This, of course, makes the Dota 2 competitive scene even more exciting. Many teams that we used to take for granted, have turned into monsters and are ready to beat the bigger teams. Speaking of which, here are the 11 teams which currently has been confirmed to attend The Lima Major:

  1. Team Liquid (Western Europe)
  2. Gaimin Gladiators (Western Europe)
  3. BetBoom Team (Eastern Europe)
  4. Team Spirit (Eastern Europe)
  5. HellRaisers (Eastern Europe)
  6. Team Aster (China)
  7. Execration (Southeast Asia)
  8. Shopify Rebellion (North America)
  9. TSM (North America)
  10. Evil Geniuses (South America)
  11. Beastcoast (South America)

As you can see, there are some new names on this list, such as Execration and HellRaisers. In last season, the two seemed to have difficulty competing in their respective regional DPC. That’s why 2023’s Major will also be unpredictable. What do you guys think?
