The switch from Nisha to Armel in Team Secret brings up questions in the minds of fans: Can Team Secret survive in Dota 2's highest tournaments? Here's Crystallis' answer!
Everyone already knows that Michal "Nisha" Jankowski was the biggest factor in Team Secret's success at The International 11. Unfortunately, the superstar decided to step out of his comfort zone and join Team Liquid.
Nisha's exit left Team Secret's internals a little bit shaken. From dropping down to DPC WEU division 2 to struggling to find a replacement midlaner worthy of Nisha.
The name Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan briefly filled the void, before the player finally left the squad due to other internal problems. Eventually, Team Secret invited one of the highest MMR Dota 2 players in Southeast Asia, Armel Tabios.
Of course, Armel's entry into the Western European region brought doubts in the minds of fans. Many believed that Armel would face the "Language Barrier" and struggle with European gameplay. In response to this, Hard Carry Remco "Crystallis" Arets gave his opinion.
"I think every player has different strengths. Every player does things a little bit differently, and it's not a big deal, not something I'm going to point out or anything. I'm just saying it's the same with everyone, just a little bit different every time you get a new player but it's not a big deal or something that stands out too much." Crystallis said in an interview.
Team Secret's position in DPC WEU Division 2 is also good until now. They've played 5 matches and have only lost once. If they remain consistent with this performance, it isn't impossible that Team Secret will return to Division 1.
Can Armel answer fans' doubts by bringing Team Secret back to the first division?
