Last night (10/10/22), EVOS Fams mourned once again. After EVOS Legends failed to qualify for the MPL ID S10 Playoff and EVOS Icon failed to win MDL ID S6, another sad news surfaced that EVOS Esports officially parted ways with Aldean “DeanKT” Tegar.

Having been with EVOS Esports for six years while serving as the organization’s VP Performance, DeanKT's departure from EVOS Esports was announced directly through the official EVOS Esports Instagram and YouTube accounts.

This announcement is certainly very shocking, because DeanKT has carved out many memories and triumphs for EVOS Esports in various game divisions such as DOTA2, Point Blank, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Arena of Valor, etc.

Starting from his initial role as manager of the DOTA 2 team, DeanKT slowly moved up to various positions and divisions. Also known as EVOS Luch, he was Head of Esports divisions, before finally having his last position as Vice President Performance.

Through the EVOS Esports YouTube video, he revealed that 2019 was a heyday which is his fondest memory at EVOS Esports, where EVOS Legends won the M1 World Championship and EVOS Capital became the first world champion.

Unfortunately, in 2022, EVOS Esports' performance has experienced many setbacks. EVOS Legends, EVOS Icon (MDL), EVOS Lynx (MLBB Ladies), EVOS Divine & EVOS Immortal (Free Fire), and EVOS Reborn (PUBGM), all looked sluggish in each of the competitions they participated in.

Because of this, DeanKT has decided to resign from his current position. He also revealed that he wanted to start focusing on his family. 

DeanKT's resignation also received many reactions, one of which was from the former EVOS Legends captain, REKT. He said that he was not surprised by DeanKT’s departure because Dean had talked about it several times with Donkey and Oura.

Now that DeanKT stepped down, what’s next for EVOS Esports?
