The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Indonesia and the Philippines competing in the IESF 2023 World Esports Championship Romania brought good news after successfully advancing to the Playoffs with perfect results in the Group Stage phase. 

Indonesia joined Group B with the United States, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, the Philippines joined Group D to face Egypt, Colombia, and Ukraine. 

The Indonesian MLBB team represented by Bigetron Alpha did not get a 100% victory. They got fierce resistance from Kazakhstan and the United States, although in the end they won by a score of 2-1.

Indonesia qualified as the top of the standings with +4 points, followed by Kazakhstan as Runner-up with +2 points. A surprising result as the United States failed to qualify for the Playoffs from this group.

For the Philippines, represented by the AP BREN team, Duckey's boys did not encounter any significant obstacles. They won 2-0 against Egypt, Ukraine, and Colombia.

The Philippines topped the Group D standings with a perfect +6 points, followed by Egypt who ranked 2nd after winning over Colombia in the last spot to the Playoffs.

In the IESF 2023 Romania Playoffs, the Indonesian MLBB national team immediately faced a very tough opponent. Unmitigated, Brazil represented by Bigetron Sons will be the next opponent. 

The Philippines gets a relatively easy opponent, namely the United Arab Emirates and is predicted to be able to qualify easily. If Indonesia and the Philippines win, they will meet in the next phase, and determine who goes down to the Lower Bracket first.
