In the last few days, rumours have been circulated regarding ONIC PH’s Kairi departure to Indonesia. Some photos where Kairi could be seen at the airports with his luggage seems to be the cause, which signals that he was really going to Indonesia.

Of course, this would have caught the attention of many esports fans. Especially for those who live in Southeast Asia, because it also has been confirmed that Kairi will play for an Indonesian team in MPL ID Season 10.

It was the Instagram account belonging to jrldnecl that circulated the story of Kairi’s departure to the Airport. Then, we became sure about this news after the recent post by Kairi’s mother herself. On June 22, her mother posted some photos  that showed Kairi and his family on the way to the airport to send off their son.

Together with the photos, there’s a caption which was written by Kairi’s mother, saying:

“The good fortune that you have made for yourself is an inspiration to us all. May your fortune continue throughout your life. Good luck on your new journey, my son! #indonesia #062222”

With this subtle post, it was crystal clear that Kairi is really coming to Indonesia and that she supported her son’s decision to go on to the next journey. Since the hashtag on this post also notes June 22, 2022, it means that Kairi’s already in Indonesia right now.

Unfortunately, there's still no information regarding the team where Kairi will play as of this writing. Some said that he will join ONIC Esports Indonesia, but it hasn’t been confirmed. Kairi himself is a jungler, so it might be one of the teams that really need a player to fill this role. Which team do you think it is?
