Liam, MLBB Veteran Roamer Returns to the Competitive Scene and Joins EVOS!

No one expected that William "Liam" Setiawan, one of the most respected veteran MLBB roamers of his time, would join EVOS and return to the competitive scene. The player has been on a long break, with the last time we saw him in the MLBB scene was at MPL ID S8 – when he was a member of RRQ.

Interestingly, the team was not his first choice when he returned. Having represented RRQ in the M1 World Championship, Liam's own career was arguably like a rollercoaster. One of the reasons is how he is believed to have gotten sick, making it difficult to keep up with the busy competitive scene.

Moreover, he had to compete with Vyn, who at that time also often made it difficult for Liam to get more opportunities. Since taking a break, there was no sign that he would make a comeback to the competitive scene, until finally a shocking announcement was made.

Not long ago, EVOS Esports had just partnered with Holy Esports to appear in Indonesia’s National Esports League 1. However, many predicted that Holy's roster would be no different than before. The five main players are there, but there's a surprising additional squad.

From Parrel Kun, Ragil (formerly Jamet in Aura Fire), to Liam, these three have the MLBB community curious about how EVOS Holy perform. Given the amount of experience Liam has under his belt, many are looking forward to his comeback and his upcoming endeavors.
