Today is the day! The newest update of Genshin Impact is here and its packed with so much content. We are so excited for the 3.2 update: Akasha Pulses, The Kalpa Flame Rises!

Continuing the Archon Quest comes chapter III, act V: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises. The story will push to the riveting end of the Sumeru archon quest in version 3.2. where players will finally face the Akademiya and rescue the Archon of Sumeru, Nahida inside the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Not only that, the plays may be up to deal with two of the Fatui Harbingers, The Doctor and The Balladeer. One of which may have attained godhood and now controls a very big puppet to battle against our traveler!

Speaking of big machines, the newest possibly weekly boss has been announced, which is Scaramouche’s ultra-powerful puppet which is massive in size! As players battle Fatui members in the game, the design and mechanics of how to battle the Harbingers are really stepping up, in design and in art as well! No worries though, despite the massive size of this puppet that players will be facing, they will be aided with a floating teammate who helps shoots the boss to deal damage.

On a lighter note, new characters are arriving along with the patch update. The first one coming out is of course the Dendro Archon herself, Lesser Lord Kusanali, or Nahida! Available during the release is a new story quest for Nahida which is the Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter: Act I. it will be available once players finish the Sumeru Archon quest. A new weapon is also available which is the A Thousand Floating Dreams (Catalyst) mainly best suited for Nahida. Alongside Nahida will give players an option to pull for Yoimiya, one of Pyro vision’s strongest bow users. Definitely a DPS worth pulling as well!

Another one is the mysterious Layla with her unique skills and abilities. Another addition to the Cryo team which they say is an upgraded version of Diona. She will be available on the second phase release along with two characters returning which is Yae Miko, the Raiden Shogun’s best friend, and Tartaglia, the traveler’s “best friend”?. Both characters still benefiting from the Dendro Archons mechanics and vision application.

New events also come into play in the latest update in Genshin Impact! The Fabulous Fungus Frenzy where you catch, train, and battle your fungi to be the top winner! Once players get enough points during the event, they will be able to summon the Sumeru merchant, Dori! Another event is the Adventurer’s Trials where players have to use special abilities to complete objectives. Which is a fun way to train yourself in the world of Teyvat. In addition to these, the patch update will also feature the return of Hypostatic Symphony: Dissonant Verse with the inclusion of the Dendro Hypostasis as part of the challenges.

If players want something more casual, they can join the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens: Greenery Chapter where players need to take photos of specific items, characters, or objects to complete the mission. Not only that, there is also quality of life update for the Serenitea Pot system, where you can “replicate” your friend’s set up in their Serenitea Pot.
