The 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) tournament will be held at the end of this year. As the event draws closer, information regarding this tournament is also getting more and more crowded. Moreover, PMPL SEA Championship Fall 2022 ended on Sunday (10/23/22) yesterday, and this year's PMGC participant slots are almost full.

Later there will be a total of 48 teams competing in the PMGC this time. When compared to last year's event which only had 40 teams, this year's number of participants was clearly more. Not only that, the league format that is applied this time will also be different from before.

In the previous event, the league was divided into East and West regions. Meanwhile, this time, the 48 participants who will compete will fight in the same league.

Launching from the leaked information contained in PMPL Updates Instagram, the teams that will compete in the PMGC 2022 League will be divided into 3 groups, consisting of 16 teams in each group. Still from the same source, the group division will reportedly be held on October 26, 2022.

In the group stage, as many as 16 teams from each group stage of the league will compete for 4 days, and will screen the top three teams.

Then for the teams that are in the 4th to 11th place from each group, they will compete again in the survival stage. A total of 24 teams in this round will compete for 16 tickets to advance to the last chance round.

After that, the 16 teams will compete for 2 days in order to win the last 4 tickets in the final round.

This league round will provide as many as 13 final tickets, consisting of 9 tickets from the group stage, and 4 tickets from the last chance round.

Later, 13 teams that have gone through natural selection from the league round, will meet the 3 teams that had previously been waiting for the grand finals, they are Team SMG from PEL, Alter Ego LIMAX, and another team that is still a question mark.

A total of 47 teams have filled a total of 48 available slots in the 2022 PMGC league round. One last slot comes from the PEL Qualifier which will end on 30 October 2022.

Indonesia itself has 3 representatives, namely Bigetron RA, EVOS Reborn, and Genesis Dogma GIDS. Interestingly, Alter Ego LIMAX is currently sitting comfortably in the grand finals.
