The group stage of one of the most prestigious DOTA 2 tournaments, the PGL Arlington Major 2022, ended on Tuesday (9/8/22) early this morning. The twelve best DOTA 2 teams will now continue their fight in the Playoffs.
The Arlington Major 2022 Playoffs will take place on August 9-14, where all participating teams are divided into upper bracket and lower bracket. The upper bracket consists of teams ranked 1-4 in the previous stage, while the lower bracket are filled with teams that ranked 5 and 6 in the group stage.
The following is the schedule for the PGL Arlington Major 2022 Playoffs:
Upper Bracket
- PSG.LGD vs BOOM Esports
- Entity vs OG
- Outsiders vs Team Spirit
- Team Aster vs Fnatic
Lower Bracket
- beastcoast vs (loser Team Aster/Fnatic)
- RNG vs (loser Outsiders/Team Spirit)
- Evil Geniuses vs (loser Entity/OG)
- Team Liquid vs (loser PSG.LGD/BOOM Esports)
As of this writing, all the first upper bracket matches have finished with victories to Team Aster, Team Spirit, OG, and PSG.LGD. With this, they will continue their journey to the Upper Bracket Semi Final Match.
On the other side, BOOM Esports, Entity, Outsiders, and Fnatic were kicked to the Lower Bracket to fight for their spot in the life-and-death match against beastcoast, RNG, Evil Geniuses, and Team Liquid.
